AN INTERVIEW WITH AUTHOR EUNICE FORSON | AUTHOR INTERVIEW
This week it is my pleasure to interview author Eunice Forson.
Me: Did you always know that you would write a book someday?
Eunice : No, I did not. On 28th July 2010, I had a word of knowledge to write a book on “Discipline in the Church”. I was instructed to put together everything I have been given into books. The subject of the book series deals with the Church—understanding the rules of the Church, what it entails, and the desire of the Church. God says He has made a plan in achieving His will—the plan of perfect intercession—His idea of unity in the Church by bringing every individual together regardless of race in one harmony. Therefore, this serves as the basis to the subject of the introductory book to the series—The Oneness: Mystery Behind the construction of the Lampstand.
Me: What inspired you to write this book?
Eunice : I get my inspiration from the revelations received as I study the subjects from the Bible as I am being led. The revelations blow my feeble mind. I started writing the contents of the books as early as 2008 without any intention of writing a book, let alone 13 books. To my knowledge, I was privileged to have the Spirit of God interrupt my daily lives and wake me up at nights, teaching and revealing mysteries of His word to me.
Discipline in the Church series offers an illustration of what needs to be done in the Church to bring unity when everything the Church incarnates brings division. The message of this book series is momentarily based on the Menorah—God’s oneness of the Church. God has planned on bringing the whole Church together in His name (Genesis 1:1), and presently, the Church is divided.
As a pharmacist with no background in theology, I wondered, how will I do this? But the Lord gave me His word and the wisdom to understand it. Many times, I hear or see something, and I jot it down quickly in my notebook or on some random scrap of paper to squirrel away for later. Lately, I’ll make a voice note instead.
Me: How did the cover of your book come to be? Is it exactly like you envisioned?
Eunice : The cover is exactly how I envisioned it to be; a simple designed cover with the symbol of the single gold metal that was hammered into the Lampstand. Just the symbol of the gold!
Me: Do you intend to keep writing?
Eunice : Yes I do intend to keep writing.
Me: How many books have you written? Which is your favorite if more than one? If only 1 book then do you plan on writing more?
Eunice : I have written thirteen books but only two have been published. None is my favorite because each book reveals a different side of the Word of God to me.
Me: What do you want people to take away from this book?
Eunice : There is a seed that God wants to plant in our hearts so that we will know that He is our God. A nurturing seed to bring us to a place that He wants us to be—togetherness. A journey to the place where everything is possible.
I want people to understand the subject of discipline in the Church as the LORD teaches it.
- How we conduct ourselves in the Church environment and its outskirts.
- The way we present ourselves to His people; do we live a godly life or mock Him?
- Understand that in the presence of God, we must worship Him in spirit and in truth.
- Understand the rules of His house.
- Observe self-discipline
- Everything we do in the Church must be governed by His rules
- God has enriched us with His power
Discover God’s plan of perfect intercession.
God is looking for men who will appraise Him in time of need and trouble.
He needs men who will acknowledge Him as their redeemer in time of famine, when they have lost all.
With the current state of the Church in its divided state, The Oneness gives an in-depth knowledge of how God plans in bringing the Church out of its depressed state through grafting. Learn to understand the troubles of today’s Church and how to overcome these challenges. The meaning of who Christ is.
Me: What is the Oneness?
Eunice : We live a life that is unpleasant to God. We try to prove that we are God-fearing people, but we are not. We cannot just come in and go out of His presence anyhow it suits us. God says, “I love my people but they are derailing from the truth.”
The introductory book, The Oneness: Mystery Behind the Construction of the Lampstand, introduces the reader to the chapters to be treated in this series. It gives brief knowledge of what law is and what it entails. The book looks into the oneness of Genesis 1:1. We do not know what the truth of God’s Word is.
So, The Oneness warns about the coming days, how to prepare our heart in expectation, be watchful, and build a deeper relationship with God.
The book looks into the unique construction of the LORD’s Lampstand from a single gold metal.
