AN INTERVIEW WITH AUTHOR MARLON ABAH | AUTHOR INTERVIEW

Me: Did you always know that you would write a book someday?

Marlon: I had no clue that I would ever write a book. I just started one day and couldn’t stop writing.

Me: What inspired you to write this book?

Marlon: I was inspired to write this book after the murder of George Floyd by the Minneapolis police. I attended several protests in my city and decided I should document things.

Me: How did the cover of your book come to be? Is it exactly like you envisioned?

Ellie: The cover is exactly how I envisioned. It came about while I was looking at some photos that my mentor (@503tvsai) took during the protests in Portland.

Me: Do you intend to keep writing?

Marlon: Yes I will be writing more books in the future. Currently I’m still recording and making music. So I’m always writing.
